The Foundation is pleased to share the latest research papers from the Austrian Marshall Plan Scholarship Awardees and the Johns Hopkins University SAIS - Program.

The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Poster Award recognizes excellence in science communication. The award winners were announced a during the virtual 2020 Austrian Research and Innovation Talk (ARIT) on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in cooperation with the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), and the Office of Science and Technology Austria (OSTA) in Washington, DC.

We congratulate the winners Lukas Fischer, Jennifer Simonjan, and Dennis Svatunek!

Florian Kabinger completed his Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at FH Campus Wien in 2020. In this video testimonial he talks about his study abroad segment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), enabled by a scholarship from the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation.

Open call or the academic year 2020/2021 until October 30, 2020. Earliest day of study is January 31, 2021.

This prize carries a cash award of $1000.00 and seeks to encourage research in the abovementioned fields focusing on the fields Professor Radomír Luža worked in.

We are pleased to inform you that the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation will sponsor a fee waiver for online participation for our U.S. alumni in this year's European Forum Alpbach (EFA), taking place from 23rd of August until 3rd of September 2020.

On February 25th 2020 the Institute of European Studies hosted a liaison meeting of experts on wood supply chain management at the University of Berkeley with friendly support by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation.
