Ass.-Prof.in Dr.in Anna-Theresa RENNER

Anna-Theresa Renner currently holds a tenure track position (post-doc) for Social Infrastructure Research and Planning at the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). She completed her Doctoral degree in Health Economics and Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2020, where she was a research and teaching assistant (prae-doc) from September 2016.

Other previous affiliations include the Vienna Institute of Demography at the Austrian Academy of Science (during 2020), and the Austrian Public Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH) (from 2012 to 2016).

Anna-Theresa’s main research focus lies on regional and geographic variations of in- and outpatient healthcare supply, and the effects of unequal spatial distribution of healthcare services on patient health and mobility. She is currently also working on the impact of extreme weather on hospitalizations and working accidents, and researching the effects of in-utero stress exposure due to regional disease outbreaks in India.
