The Schumpeter Society in Vienna in cooperation with the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation is inviting applications for the 2021/22 AMPF - Schumpeter Fellowship at Harvard University. The fellowship lasts up to a maximum of six months, usually from September to February, or from January to July.

The fellowship is realized via an affiliation with Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. This includes access to all scientific facilities (lectures, library, research infrastructure), as well as to society events. The candidate will be provided with a fully functional work space at the Center.

The candidate will be expected to complete a research project at Harvard University, to establish contacts with colleagues, and to act as a representative of the Austrian scientific community at lectures and special events. In addition, the candidate is obliged to act as a contact for the Schumpeter Society and the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation in order to further expand the contacts with Harvard University.

Target audience:
Post-docs (maximum of six years after completion of the Ph.D.) in the following research areas: economics, political science, social sciences, economic history.

Compensation:
Euro 30,000 for travel- and living expenses.
