On November 10, 2025, the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation marked its 25th anniversary at TUtheSky, the rooftop venue of TU Wien, under the theme “25 Years of Transatlantic Exchange.”

The event brought together leaders from politics, science, and diplomacy, as well as former Foundation fellows. Distinguished guests included Foundation President Wolfgang Petritsch, Ambassador Susan McCaw, entrepreneur and former Federal Minister Martin Bartenstein, Foundation Vice President Barbara Weitgruber, and TU Wien Vice Rector Peter Ertl.

Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal Minister Eva-Maria Holzleitner, and Federal Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer delivered warm greetings.

The program featured inspiring fellow success stories—presented by Marlies Kathrin Berger, Latifeh Nasseri, Rafaela Vostatek, and Matthias Vostatek—moderated by Elisabeth Springler. A symbolic re-signing of the 2007 Memorandum of Understanding reaffirmed the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to transatlantic collaboration.

A highlight of the evening was a unique AI-generated video message featuring George C. Marshall himself.

The celebration concluded with networking and a toast to the next 25 years. The Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to its fellows, partners, and supporters who make its mission possible and looks forward to continuing to foster transatlantic exchange.
