Marlies Berger
Marlies Kathrin Berger
Marlies Kathrin Berger holds a degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and the Medical University of Vienna. Supported by a Marshall Plan Scholarship, she conducted research on skin cancer at the New York University Langone Medical Center in 2017.
Her professional career began as a Clinical Research Associate, where she was responsible for monitoring clinical trials in different therapeutic areas all around Austria. Marlies Kathrin Berger currently works as a Medical Science Liaison in the cardiovascular field at Novartis, serving as a key scientific link between research and clinical practice. In this role, she facilitates scientific exchange between healthcare professionals and the company, ensuring that the latest research findings translate into improved patient care.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Ms Berger has gained extensive international experience, having lived and studied in Mexico, France, Sweden, Belgium, Italy and the United States. This global perspective continues to shape her commitment to cross-border collaboration in science and medicine.
