Jakob is a Ph.D. student in the neuroscience program of the Medical University of Vienna, where he is working on neuromuscular synapse formation and maintenance in assoc. Prof. Ruth Herbst’s lab. Specifically, we study the molecular switch that engages neuromuscular formation. During my stay at the lab of Prof. Mark Lemmon, FRS, at Yale, I will have the exceptional opportunity to look into the finest details of enzyme regulation in this switch.
