Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ARIT 2021 will have both in-person and virtual components. We kindly ask guests to adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask on the day of the event.
About:
This year’s ARIT focuses on the role of Science, Technology, and Innovation as we respond to modern global challenges to assure a sustainable future for all. To address these challenges, the United Nations adopted the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” with goals including combatting environmental degradation, building resilient infrastructure, and ensuring access to affordable and clean energy. An interconnected, interdisciplinary approach is key to combatting global hardship. Our vision is one where scientists can come together and join forces to solve some of the most pressing issues we face today. The Austrian Research and Innovation Talk is one place to get such conversations started.

The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), and OSTA Washington look forward to hosting a virtual poster session and the Austrian Marshall Plan foundation poster awards. Click here to be inspired by last year’s submissions.
The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Awards amount to €3,000, €2,000, and €1,000.
